Those participating in the Easter Parade this Sunday are to meet at the front of the library at 11.30am.
We will then join the other groups in the CBS grounds.
The parade will commence at 12.30.
We will gather at the Hospice shop on Castle Street at the end of the parade and will then return to the library.
One section of the parade will be a silent section – Church to Courthouse.
The theme this year is Red to Racism 🔴
We wish to raise awareness of racism in soccer, sport and society. Roscommon Town Youth Soccer wants to relegate racism – to give it the red card! 🟥
Parents and other family members are welcome to walk in the parade along with the players, coaches and other volunteers in our club.
Participants can wear Town club clothing or can wear a red hat, cap, scarf or jacket 🧣
Our players will be given a Town jersey to wear ⚪⚫ and other items on the day (balloons, posters, red cards, etc). Wear for the weather.
See you on Sunday morning and if anyone else wants to participate, just vote in the parade poll – see WhatsApp group poll.
Football welcomes all.
⚪⚫⚽️🕒 Don’t forget clocks go forward this weekend.
