323 players playing for 23 teams in 2023
Silverware for many teams, Nutrition Night, Womens World Cup Draw, Nations Football Club Blitzes, KCS Club Store Range, Matchday Shop, Growth in Social Media Channels – Instagram especially, Increasing numbers using club website, Readership for C’mon the Town in the Roscommon People, Game time for players, Positive relationships, Our Sponsors, Community Connections.
Roscommon People
During the season, the club has a column in the Roscommon People. Match reports, team photos, coaching tips, quotes, coach profiles, player profiles, competitions. All this and more has featured in C’mon the Town in 2022 and 2023. We are very grateful to editor Paul Healy and his staff for their support and assistance in bringing the Town to thousands of people on a weekly basis. Related to media matters, we have been invited to participate in a TG4 sports series and are awaiting an update as to when filming will happen.
Sponsors
We are also highly appreciative of our sponsors who support our teams in many ways whether this be sponsoring jerseys, training tops, 1st aid kits, postmatch hospitality, etc.
Volunteer
Alastair Kerr was nominated for the Spirited Award at the recent Roscommon Volunteer Awards evening. Alastair is a parent, coach and our registration officer. He is a committed and competent member of our club and we appreciate his efforts on and off the field.
The club is growing and we are always looking for people to assist our work on and off the pitch – coaching, supervision, administration, IT, etc.
All volunteers will be vetted and will complete safeguarding training.
Sponsorship
Can you sponsor jerseys, training tops, 1st aid kits or our column in the Roscommon People? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Your business will be mentioned on our club website, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and in the Roscommon People.
