Thank You 👏👏
A sincere word of thanks to our jersey sponsors and our club members who supported our teams during the season, especially with regard to transport, club shop, post match food and refreshments. It is very much appreciated.
Every Little Helps 🤝🤝
With increasing numbers, we are looking for more members to support our work with young people. Can you help?
Some of the ways you can contribute include: jersey sponsorship, team wear sponsorship, club shop, coaching, supervision, administration, etc.
If everyone does a little, a lot will get done.
November Remember 🕯
We remember deceased club members, family and friends during this month. May they rest in peace.
Friday Final ⚽️🏆
On Friday, our U18 boys team play Moylough in the final under the Lecarrow lights. KO 7.45pm.
Cup Success 🏆
Our Town 1 U16 side beat Ballymoe to claim the Premier Division Cup Final. After conceding an early goal, Jonathan Ben Martin and Sam Hannon netted. An unfortunate own goal saw Ballymoe equalise. The key moment of the game came early in the second half. Ethan Turkington was fouled in the box. After the opposition goalkeeper was shown red, Ethan slotted home to give Town the lead. With Ballymoe down to ten, Town capitalised. Jonathan Ben Martin and Craig Glennon scored to seal the win. Thanks to John Horan for managing the team this season. See team photo below. 📸
SFAI Action ⚽️
U15 – Our boys U15 team exited the SFAI Cup away to Westport United. Town were slow out of the blocks and were behind at the break. Still, the lads competed well in the second half but were just unable to covert their many chances. See team photo below. 📸
U13 – A severely depleted boys U13 side lost to Coolaney United of Sligo after extra time in the SFAI Trophy. Ruairi McNeela, Samuel Godfrey and Ethan Hanratty (2) all netted for a battling Town side. Considering Town were missing eight players for the game, it was a tremendous effort away from home.
Girls U16s ⚽️
Our girls U16 team scored six but it wasn’t enough as Glen Celtic progressed to the final. Vittoria Duarte and Lucy Coyle scored three each under the lights in Ballymoe on Monday night. Thanks to Olímpia and Paul for managing the team this season. See team photo below. 📸
