RDYSL Cups 🏆
Our boys Town 1 U16 team play Ballymoe under the Lecarrow lights tonight (Thursday). We wish them well.
Our U12 Town 1 team beat Strokestown in their Divisional Final. After an even first half, Town settled into the game and started to click. Dominic Jacob was fouled in the box. Finon O’Toole converted from the spot. Jacob was involved for the second goal also. He passed to Samuel Godfrey who slotted home to secure the win. A lovely evening for football and a deserved win for the lads. Thanks to Dion Hegarty, Bobby Hughes and Mark McNeela for managing the team this season in the RDYSL.
SFAI Cup 🇮🇪⚽️
After a game where they never got going, the U13 boys team exited the SFAI Cup at home to Real Tubber of Sligo. Igor da Silva scored for Town. Our U15 boys team travelled to Sligo town to play Coolaney United and enjoyed an easy afternoon. Goals from Scott Duda, William Godfrey, Aaron Miley, Darragh Killeen and Andrej Anic saw the lads progress to the next round.
