On the Pitch ⚽️🥅

Our four U9 teams concluded their season in Shiven last Sunday afternoon. 45 Town players took part in the blitz. Thanks to Mike Ryan and his coaching team for guiding the players through the season. 📸 See photos below and on social media channels.

On Monday evening, all three of our U14 teams were in Divisional Cup action. Our young Real team were beaten in Ballaghaderreen. The second leg will be played in Lisnamult on Saturday. Atletico beat Castlerea 3-2 in Lisnamult. Yurii Shumyhora (2) and Joao Vitor Santes netted for Town but Castlerea won on aggregate. Our Rovers team were pipped by Dunmore under the lights in Lecarrow. Aaron Miley had given Town a deserved lead but two quick fire goals put Dunmore ahead on the night. Still, Town were progressing to another final on the away goals rule until Dunmore scored from a corner with two minutes remaining to seal their place in the Premier Divisional Cup Final.

On Tuesday evening, Town 2 beat St John’s in a penalty shootout. Bobby Gannon scored for Town in normal time. Conor Farrell saved two penalties in the shootout. Well done Conor and the lads.

On Wednesday, our U16 girls team lost 4-2 away to Kilkerrin. Lucy Coyle scored two for the Town. On Friday, in the boys U11 EL, Town 1 are in Moylough. Town 2 host Skyvalley while Town 3 welcome Castlerea. The Town 1 CL team play a backlog match on Sunday at home to Ballinagare. Finally, the boys U18 team travel to Strokestown on Saturday evening hoping to claim a place in the Divisional Cup semifinal.
