Best Wishes ? ?☘️
Best wishes to our players who are returning to school, especially those who are making the transition from primary to post primary school. Put in the effort in the classroom as you do on the pitch and you will be fine. Look, listen, love, laugh, live and learn! We also extend our best wishes to those who received their Leaving Cert results and hope they will be guided to goodness as they progress along the path of life.

On the Pitch ⚽️?
Last Saturday, our young U18 side were unfortunate not to claim at least a point when they welcomed league leaders Cloonfad to Lisnamult. Town had the majority of chances before the visitors scored against the run of play. A second at the start of the second half looked to have ended our chances. However, Town kept playing. Leo Anic hit the post before Oisin Mullen slotted home. In injury time, Noah Farrell ventured up from his goal to connect with a corner. His effort clipped the top of the crossbar. The lads are away to St John’s on Saturday evening.
On Monday last, a depleted U14 Rovers team were unfortunate to lose 1-0 away to Dunmore while our Real side were beaten at home by St Cuan’s. Darragh Costello scored for Town. On Tuesday, our Town 1 U12 lads won comfortably in Kilkerrin. Goals from Charlie Madden, Samuel Godfrey, Harry Trimble, Dominic Jacob (2) and Finon O’Toole (3) gained the three points. Town 2 lost at home to Dunmore. Our U16 girls made the short journey out the road to Lecarrow on Wednesday evening. Vitória Filha scored for Town in the first half but the home side claimed the points. On Thursday, both of our U16 boys teams were away from home. Town 1 lost in Castlerea while Town 2 lost to Moore.
The action continues also for our U7, U9 and U11 boys and girls teams this weekend as we enter the closing stages.
