It is hard to look beyond USA but I also expect Spain to be there or thereabouts.

It would be great if they could get out of their group.

That it will inspire many young girls to take up soccer here in Ireland.

COYGIG ??⚽️
There has been a positive reaction to our Womens World Cup draw. Every Town player has been assigned a country at random. The winning player will receive a gift from our club store.
Ireland play Canada next Wednesday at 1pm before playing Nigeria on July 31st at 11am. Why not host a watch party for your child and their teammates as we get behind the team. Wear green. Hang your scarves, flags, balloons and bunting. Turn those LEDs green. Make posters. Dress up the dog! Share your photos in your team WhatsApp group. COYGIG!

On the Pitch ⚽️?
After getting through to the U14 7s Cup final, our Real side were wondering if it would be an all Town decider. An Aaron Miley hat trick away to Kilkerrin made this happen. Our Atletico side were also at the semifinal stage and were at home to Shiven. Goals from Cian Connaughton and Dwayne Murray brought the lads level but it was the visitors who finished the stronger. On Tuesday, our Town 1 U12 side were unfortunate to lose out to a late debatable goal. Ryan Hegarty and Finon O’ Toole were on target for Town.
The Town 1 U16 team have qualified for the 7s final. The lads overcame Skyvalley after extra time. Town 2 lost and drew their two 7s matches against St John’s and Lough Harps. On Friday, all eight U11 sides have matches. Town 1 and 3 are away to Skyvalley and Moylough, respectively. Town 2 host Lough Harps. The girls CL and EL teams welcome St John’s.
The U9s have a busy but brilliant Sunday soccer programme to look forward to. Town 1 welcome Dunmore, Ballymoe and St John’s while Town 2 travel to Kilkerrin to take on the hosts, Lough Harps and Skyvalley.
And Remember…
See it to be it!
