On the Pitch ⚽️
All three U14 sides were in action on Monday evening last. Rovers comfortably beat St John’s 4-0 in Lecarrow. Rian Grogan finished a fine team move before Aaron Miley scored the second. Lewis Smyth and Eoin Naughten scored for the Town in the second half to ease us to the three points.
⭐️ Star Player – Conor Keaveney. Our young Real side lost out away to St Cuans. Jacob Szela scored two. Luis Fellipe da Silva and Senan Grogan also netted. Atletico took the lead at home to Ballymoe through Niall Timon but Ballymoe took the points.
Both of our U12 teams were in league action on Tuesday. Town 1 won in Glenamaddy with Daniel Byrne and Samuel Godfrey scoring. Town 2 lost away to Castlerea.
Our U16 and U18 teams have no competitive matches during the exam period though training continues. At U11 level, Town 1 were away to Kilkerrin. The EL team drew while the CL team won comfortably. Town 2 were at home to St Cuans. The EL lads won while the CL side lost. The Town 3 EL and CL teams won their games at home to Ballaghaderreen.
? Goal of the Week – Rian Grogan v St John’s. Good finish after a good team move.
Good luck! ☘️
We wish our players well in their exams over the coming weeks. Prepare well and you will perform.
