On the Pitch
U14
On Monday evening, our Rovers side welcomed Kilkerrin in the boys U14 Cup semifinal. Despite losing the influential Eoin Naughten at the very start of the game, Town set the early pace. Aaron Miley clipped the crossbar and hit the post before Scott Duda’s strike broke the deadlock. The visitors grew into the game in the second half but Town withstood the pressure before scoring against the run of play. Aaron Miley reacted to a Duda throw in to dink the ball past the keeper. A final now awaits the lads.
Our Atlético and Real teams commence their league campaigns on Monday next.

U11
A lot of good work is being done by our coaches at U11 level which is the largest section in the club. Our six boys teams scored plenty and won all of their recent games against Moylough, Moore and Cloonfad. All six teams are in action on Friday evening. Our CL girls teams are in Strokestown.
U18
Our young U18 team played out a thrilling draw at home to a good Moore United side. The final score was 7-7! Town took a commanding lead only for the visitors to reel them in. Town scored the equaliser in additional time to claim the point that their efforts merited.
They are away to Cam on Saturday evening. Note venue change.
U7 & U9
Our U7 teams are training while it’s show time for our U9 sides as they welcome Cloonfad and St John’s to Roscommon Community Sports Park on Sunday.
We wish all players, parents and coaches well in their games.
