Know the Score ⚽️⚽️⚽️
On Monday evening last, our boys u14 Rovers side won comfortably in Ballaghaderreen to progress to the Cup semifinal. Town had seven different goal scorers. Atlético and Real were paired in the Shield. Those in attendance were treated to a goal fest with Atlético winning an enjoyable encounter. With ten minutes left, the game was level before Atlético netted three more to seal the deal. Cian Connaughton and Daniel Hamrock netted braces for the winners. They are now at home to Lough Harps in the QF. At U12 level, both Town teams were unfortunate to exit. Town 1 lost out in the final minutes while Town 2 didn’t convert their chances. Dominic Jacob and Tushar Reddy Akidi scored for the Town.
On Wednesday, the girls U16 team travelled to Ballaghaderreen for their semifinal. It was a frustrating night for the girls to say the least. Town raced into a two goal lead but were pipped at the post by their hosts. Lucy Coyle, Daniella Kerr and Vitoria Duarte scored for Town.
On Thursday, a depleted U16 Town 1 team were beaten by Castlerea in their Cup semifinal. Town 2 lost out to Lough Harps in the Shield QF.
This Friday, at U11 level, our girls teams host Ballaghaderreen. Town 1 boys are also at home to Glen Celtic while Town 3 are in Strokestown.
On Saturday evening, the boys U18 team play away to Cam Celtic in the Shield semifinal.
Our U7 and U9 players continue to develop their skills and will play more games as the season progresses – see a selection of photos below.
